We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Injection Molding Supervisor - 2nd Shift to join our team.


Supervise all shop operations, control work flow, ensure a safe and productive workplace.


Essential Job Functions:

  • Maintain work schedule and efficient manufacture of product
  • Delegate work assignments to production associates
  • Assist with material ordering and material availability concerns
  • Monitor work in process to maintain Quality throughput production phase
  • Review documentation for completeness, accuracy and appropriate signoffs
  • Train new or reassigned employees in their job functions
  • Examine all machinery and equipment for proper functioning
  • Maintain cleanliness and working order
  • Supervise and motivate employees in shop area
  • Complete work of a highly critical or sensitive nature as necessary
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Must be able to work overtime as required to meet production/delivery deadlines.
  • Maintain cycle efficiencies and optimal processing parameters according to work instructions.
  • Troubleshoot and correct process parameters to assure quality product that meets customer specs.
  • Perform routine mold maintenance and safety checks on equipment
  • Enter operating information into the MRP system
  • Able to perform any job description within the injection molding department.
  • Ability to effectively train department associates in all tooling and positions available in the injection molding department.
  • Monitor equipment and processes to detect problems affecting quality and efficiency; make appropriate adjustments to correct.



Required Experience:

  • Vocational training or general education
  • Three (3) to five (5) years relevant experience

Required Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent GED
  • Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong mathematical skills
  • Knowledge of use and operation of all hand tools and equipment used in the industry
  • Ability to direct others
  • Ability to work in conjunction with other associates
  • Ability to convey work orders and procedures in a concise manner
  • Good mechanical skills
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Ability to recognize problems as they may occur in a job procedure
