    This position will provide functional insight and data analysis on logistics operations and spend required to support all business needs at all levels within the procurement, customer service, operations, supply chain, and sales divisions. Effective communication with internal and external stakeholders along with operational support teams across the business is key to success in this role.  Will work closely with internal departments such as, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Plant managers, Sales leadership, Finance, Product managers, and externally with our vendor partners.


    • Ability to work with little supervision and manage multiple activities and projects
    • Good communication skills and working with groups within the organization
    • Understanding of different freight modes, such as, air, expedited, ground, LTL, FTL, ocean, intermodal
    • Knowledge of general ledger and freight charge allocations.
    • General understanding of freight audit and payment processing.
    • Able to analyze data and identify problem areas for future resolution
    • Work with internal stakeholders to control costs and establish/modify necessary processes
    • Analyze data and internally report KPI’s for carrier cost & service.
    • Develop report cards for logistics service providers
    • Monitor carrier compliance on outbound/inbound routing
    • Understanding of import/export regulations


    • Proficient in the use of Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
    • Microsoft Dynamics or other ERP or Logistics Software a Plus
    • Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills


    • Bachelor’s degree required (BA or BS)
