    Atlantic Tactical, United Uniform, and Lawmen’s make up The Safariland Group’s retail and distribution business consisting of 11 retail locations ranging from the Carolina's through New York. Based on our tremendous growth we are adding to our Retail Team and have an exciting opportunity for an experienced XXXXXXX to be based at our XXXXXX location.

    JOB SUMMARY

     

    This position is responsible for the maintenance and integrity of the Hyperion application, designs and prepares recurring and ad hoc reports for management, and performs other financial reporting, modeling, and analysis tasks. Must be highly motivated with a team focus, strong financial systems background, and be able to operate effectively under tight deadlines.

    Responsibilities

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

    • Develop and maintain Hyperion Financial reports and queries
    • Implement necessary design modifications to reflect changes in the company’s organizational structure, including entity, account, and other updates while considering application and reporting requirements and maintaining data, system integrity, and availability
    • Execute routine procedures related to month and quarter close cycles, including updating of data required for financial reporting
    • Support Finance, and other functional teams to further leverage Hyperion applications across the organization and identify opportunities to streamline closing, forecasting, and budgeting processes
    • Provide day to day support to the Hyperion user community – establish new users, resolve access and data related questions from a variety of stakeholders
    • Train personnel on Hyperion applications including Essbase and Smartview
    • Develop and maintain analytical schedules to support management’s evaluation of company and category performance, including support of the monthly business review (MBR) and various ad-hoc analysis
    • Other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

    • Strong analytical skills, and attention to detail
    • Excellent client relation, verbal, written and interpersonal skills
    • Excellent organizational skills
    • Ability to identify priorities and manage tasks
    • Ability to work closely within a team as well as independently
    • Knowledgeable in the Microsoft Office Suite, Excellent MS Excel skills require
    • Capable of working effectively under compressed timeframes, and meeting strict deadlines

    EXPERIENCE

    • Three plus (3+) years finance experience
    • Three plus (3+) years Hyperion experience as an administrator and analyst
    • Briefing and interacting with senior corporate executives and stake holders

    EDUCATION

    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration
