  • Overview

    We have a unique opportunity to own 2 divisions of Products with the growth potential to add 2 more divisions under your responsibilities.  This is a highly involved Business Development Manager role that will report directly to the VP/GM.   You will hold responsibility for the management of multiple business lines manufactured and warehoused in multiple locations.  You will direct the ongoing day to day business while leading or assisting with the initiative to improve Processes, Sales, Operations, Marketing and Supply Chain.  (Hatch Glove Tech & Firearm Accessories)


    • Responsible for the management of assigned categories meeting/exceeding margin and sales plans.
    • Responsible for the design, development and execution of new products in assigned categories.
    • Lead by research of new products, product enhancements and product redesign.
    • Oversee key projects, processes and performance reports, data and analysis.
    • Work to ensure product specifications are accurate and up to date then communicate changes and updates to all parties.
    • Coordinate with Marketing Communications strategic directions for product catalogs, new products, sell sheets and launch programs on assigned categories.
    • Annually research and analyze current product line offerings as they contribute to the overall category strategy, profitability, sales & marketing goals, for current and new customers (domestic and international), determining products to over haul, enhance or eliminate from the portfolio.
    • Understand competitive marketplace for assigned categories and document competitive cross references. Take on addition responsibilities as assigned from the VP/GM.
    • Additional responsibilities include:
      • Communicating with factories the product specifications of proposed new product.
      • Monitoring, tracking and organizing of all approved proposed new product samples collect costs.
      • Complete P&L for all items and communicate cost for product.
      • Approve all Pre-Production samples
      • Accurately complete item set up requirements and all related documents: communicate to all parties/departments.


    • 3-5 years of experience in product management
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks
    • Must have a sense of urgency and be deadline and process oriented
    • Must have strong analytical skills
    • Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills
    • Demonstrates attention to detail/organization skills
    • Ability to work independently within a team environment
    • Open and collaborative style
    • Act as a leader within the company


    • Bachelor’s degree required (preferably with concentration in marketing, business, or engineering). MBA a plus.
    • Proficient in the use of Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM’s.
