  • Overview

    Provide CAD and documentation support to assist in updating current drawings and documentation processes into ISO requirements.




    • Creation of CAD and drawings for internal and external customer use. Additionally, works with R&D shop for creating of prototype and production molds.
    • Manage customer interactions including phone calls, team meetings, and email communications.
    • Creation and maintenance of bill of materials.
    • Understanding methodologies of thermal forming and plastics.
    • Manages expectations and balances the needs of company and client to ensure satisfaction for relevant parties
    • Develops, recommends and implements critical path solutions and advises internal and external customers.


    • Two plus (+2) years of Solidworks CAD experience
    • Experience working with thermal forming and plastic knowledge preferred. Automotive OE experience (PPAP and TeamCenter) is a plus. CATIA experience is a plus.
    • Two-year college degree with CAD/drafting courses in curriculum and/or equivalent education or training.
    • Strong leadership and organizational skills
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with team members and clients
    • Strong Mircosoft Office, specifically MS Excel and MS Project
    • Strong CAD skills. Solidworks and/or CATIA
    • Thermal forming and plastic knowledge
    • Ability to work in a team environment and with minimal supervision
    • Ability to deal with ambiguity and change.
    • Ability to produce work with a sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment.
    • Sit for prolonged periods.
    • Perform repetitive motion.
    • Light physical demands, such as, packaging and shipping of sample product
