  • Overview

    Assist in the development, coordination, implementation and communications for Engineering projects for internal and external clients in a high-pressure, fast-paced development environment. Provide support to Engineering Project Manager and Director of Engineering and department general administration.

    Responsibilities

    • Assist in managing Engineering projects as assigned by project manager or director.
    • Take accountability for project performance and meeting project target dates and milestones.
    • Communicate and lead the project(s) throughout the development process. Work with Customer, Marketing, Designers and other appropriate project stakeholders to assure timely project completion and requirements,
    • Creates and facilitates all documentation related to the project.
    • Manages expectations and balances the needs of company and client to ensure satisfaction for relevant parties.
    • Works with R&D to familiarize with the development process including timelines, costing packages, design requirements.
    • Creation and maintenance of bill of materials
    • Continuously tracks project through life-cycle and meets project success criteria.
    • Develops best practices and tools for project execution and management.

    Qualifications

    • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
    • Ability to master multiple projects with multiple activities and multiple due dates
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with team members and clients
    • Excellent communication and facilitation skills
    • Strong Microsoft Office, specifically MS Excel and MS Project
    • Ability to work in a team environment and with minimal supervision
    • Ability to deal with ambiguity and change.
    • Ability to produce work with a sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment.
    • Two plus (2+) year of project management experience.
