  • Overview

    We are seeking a dynamic leader to lead our Jacksonville location that has  demonstrated a background in transforming an operation to one that consistently provides excellent service to customers.  The candidate will have a passion for continuous improvement focused on safety, quality, delivery, inventory and cost in a competitive environment. 


    Essential Functions:

    • Responsible for exceeding customer expectations and making Raving Fans
    • Develop and implement a footprint strategy to reduce complexity and cost
    • Proactively and deliberately develop talent within the organization
    • Develop a culture and programs that lead to high employee engagement
    • Utilize tools to identify the reduction of complexity within the operation
    • Coach and lead the team to utilize various operating tools
    • Develop capacity planning tools for operations that aligns with commercial forecasts
    • Develop and implement lean tools within the operation
    • Create a Kaizen process that delivers improvements in operational performance
    • Manage the capital planning process for the business
    • Work with product leaders to design new products for manufacturability

     Supervisory Responsibility:

    • This position will have direct or indirect responsibility for teams across multiple disciplines (manufacturing, engineering, production, planning, procurement, warehouse, quality and facilities maintenance) and will be responsible for our International Parkway location only.


    • Required Education and Experience
    • BA/BS in industrial or mechanical engineering, or a 4-year technical degree in related discipline.
      8+ years of experience in manufacturing and operations / supply chain management, preferably in a process-oriented operations and/or related industry.
    • A minimum of 5 years of experience managing a significant segment of a large manufacturer or the entire operation of a smaller manufacturer.
    • 5+ years of implementing and utilizing Lean methodologies
    • Must have experience practicing, leading and coaching a lean environment
    • Demonstrated track record of developing talent
    • Experience leading turnaround operational performance
