  • Overview

    This position’s primary focus will be to design, develop, test, maintain, and troubleshoot complex reports, dashboards, cubes and SSIS packages. The developer must take ownership of projects/tasks/issues and work them through completion; follow defined guidelines and coding standards and meet user requirements. In addition, the developer will collaborate with end users using agile methodologies and provide exceptional customer service by becoming a trusted business advisor.


    • Performs deep analysis of information requests
    • Works with the various business customers and determine clear and actionable requirements from concept to implementation for new or existing reporting modules, processes, or application suite tools including but not limited to dashboards, balanced scorecards, reports, cubes, and summaries
    • Design, develop, test, and document structured queries, SSIS packages, jobs, cubes and reports
    • Participates in the quality checks on the completeness and accuracy of data and works with end users to follow through with associated action items.
    • Proactively perform audits of data, reports, queries and tables to identify weaknesses in data integrity, reliability or technical processes
    • Perform project activities including: work planning, resource estimating, recommended issue prioritization and resolution
    • Recommend business process and/or design enhancements to management
    • Research and communicate answers to end-users’ questions regarding data and solutions
    • Prepare and facilitate training sessions which explain processes, data, attributes, and reports; and general query knowledge for the purposes of analysis, report development, and training
    • Document solutions as implemented or analyzed as requested.


    • Minimum 5+ years of experience with, Excel, SSRS, SSIS, BIDS
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related fields
    • Excellent understanding of data modeling, SQL, SSRS, Excel
    • Experience in multiple database platforms, including SQL Server, Oracle
    • Experienced in MDX, Power Pivot, SSAS, Tabular Cubes, and XML
    • Knowledge of scorecard / dashboard software a plus
    • The ability to learn processes and systems quickly
    • Ability to work closely within a team as well as independently
    • Must possess excellent organization, prioritization, and customer service skills
    • Programming experience (VB.NET, C# or Java) a plus
    • MCSE: Business Intelligence Solution Expert certification or equivalent certification a plus
    • SalesForce, MS Dynamics CRM and Dynamics AX integration experience is a plus
