Responsible for design, configuration, implementation, communication, maintenance and administration in support of Safariland’s HRIS Strategy and benefits programs. This includes all Human Resources related systems, applications, programs and processes.


  • Ensures streamlined operation of the HRIS function.
  • Ensures HRIS/technology alignment with business objectives of HR and the organization.
  • Partner with HR Business Partners (and their businesses) to understand needs while designing and implementing processes and procedures to meet those needs.
  • Partner with providers, vendors and brokers to ensure effective configuration and integration of HR systems and validity of data.
  • Manages the design, implementation and delivery to support the organization’s HR systems and related processes and procedure to ensure data integrity and successful adoption throughout the company.
  • Accountable for data integrity including testing, quality, accuracy, reporting, timeliness and usability of systems.
  • Serves as technical lead and “Super User” for HR systems, applications and practices.
  • Manages all reporting to include EEO/Affirmative Actions/Veterans programs and ACA and 1095-C.
  • Research, analyze and provide ongoing communication to HR and management regarding employee status while on leave of absence.
  • Provides functional support in benefits administration, compensation management and employee records.
  • Performs audits and reconciliations of monthly benefits billing and ensures invoices are paid in a timely manner.
  • Creates Standard Operation system Procedures (SOP’s) and process documentation for benefits processing, reporting metrics and HR dashboard as well as fulfills reporting requests from internal customers and providers.


  • Attention to detail, accuracy with strong analytical skills required.
  • Effective, diplomatic interpersonal communication skills with the ability to present in a group setting. 
  • Ability to exercise good judgment to organize and adjust multiple priorities and tasks simultaneously in an independent work environment.
  • Prior HR Generalist experiences a plus.
  • Prior work with ADP a plus.
  • Human Resources Information Processional (HRIP) certification a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting or related field or high school diploma with 5+ years of direct experience in human resources, benefits or HRIS.

  • 3+ years of experience in HR Benefits, Information Systems or related field.

  • Solve problems through collaboration while executing results.

  • Demonstrated professionalism while delivering customer satisfaction.

  • Critical HR competencies including process management, analytical skills, decision-making, problem solving and customer service skills.

  • Ability to master new technology and continually acquire new skills while retaining present skills.

  • Ability to assimilate data and maintain system structure based upon best practices, established guidelines

  • Can maintain confidentiality at all times.

  • Frequently required to sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk and hear. Frequently required to stand and walk and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception and the ability to focus.
